Ooooh. Nice. What pattern do you use?

Thanks! For my bags I make my own patterns. It's one of my favorite parts, working out the construction, how everything fits together. I've been making these little clutch/make-up bags for a couple of years, so I didn't have to make a new pattern :) For these, you really only need a rectangle size pattern the height and width that you want your bag to be and then work out how the patchwork will fit together on top of the rectangle. Cut a lining piece. I overlock the outside and lining together at the opening and the sew the zip on the outside, flip it in and topstitch around to finish the zipper in (hiding the overlocking). Happy sewing!
