So, an update to the below email. It looks like the Northwest Fabric and Trim show is back and will be in Renton on Oct 2 & 3rd. More info on their website: http://www.nwfabricshow.com/
is for Sale. I'm not sure how you buy a trade show, but there you are. I haven't gone in a few years and thought recently that I would the next show only to find that it is retired pending a buyer. There really aren't a lot of fashion fabric resources in Seattle. A couple very nice fabric shops (mostly for bridal) and the rest is mainly quilting.
It makes me miss my favorite fabric shop in London, The Cloth Shop, which looks like is now called The Cloth House. They used to have a sneaky shop on a side street in Camden, but it's not on their website so, not sure if it is even there anymore. The Berwick one is lovely and a must see for any fabric lover shopping in London. Berwick street in Soho has a great selection of lovely fabric shops on both sides of the street. On their website in the gallery section they have a great picture of shopping bags made from recycled Indian newspapers. Love.
Crafting a Green World is a terrific resource for organic projects & products including their wonderful list of the Top 10 Modern, Eo-Friendly Fabrics on Etsy. It is so exciting and inspirational to see such lovely designs on organic fabrics and they take the work out of searching high and low for them.
I have decided to have a blow-out sale on my ebay store product that has been sitting around for a while. Most fabrics are starting at 99cents, some are starting at $4.95. I need to get rid of a lot of this so if interested please visit my ebay shop listings: Fabulous-Fabric-Finds
Here are some pictures of cute fabrics that are available...
I love estate sales! I love fabric! I just can't control myself and now I can't decide which to keep and which to sell. I hit the mother-load at the last estate sale, it was literally a house full of fabric. It was a good thing I had my sweetheart with me, he is great for the lifting and carrying of boxes of fabric! I will be putting a lot of this cuteness up into my ebay store soon, if I can part with it!
Today, while planning on working, I found these lovely little Japanese fabric stores online and then proceeded to get lost looking at all of the links that I couldn't read. Exploring all of the fun and fabulous projects, hours easily gone! I love how appetising these buttons look! Enjoy!
Hello! My first post will be about what? Fabric! Vintage Fabric, my favorite! A recent excursion to an estate sale with Jason (my most patient boyfriend) I went a bit mad and tried to buy a whole housefull. These fabrics are inspiring and making me excited for Spring bags and projects. I have boxes of vintage fabric that I will be putting into my ebay fabric store this week Fabulous-Fabric-Finds. I will also soon update this site with great pictures of fabric and some cute projects. Now I need to figure out how to update my blog, xo Suzy
