New Skin!

Copy_of_scan0001Tuesday, my day off, I went across the street from my shop to the fabulous Luscious Skin Spa for my very first facial. I can't even believe the difference it has made in my skin! I feel as though I had never washed my face before. Apparently the few products I had been using on neglected skin before going to Mari's spa was just like rubbing old oil on my face every day. Who knew? I would recommend treating yourself to her wonderful peels and rubs, I left with a bottle of lemon cleanser that keeps my face feeling soft like I just left the spa. If you come in to my Frock Shop, I have 20% off coupons for treatments.

It is so fun...

to find an old camera that you have no idea what pictures are on it! I had a disposable one that hung out in my car for a couple of years and in my bag last summer. I finally got around to having it developed today. I didn't realize that they expire! Mine, apparently, had expired in January of 2005, but I managed to get some great pictures out of it from last summer. None survived from the previous years, but who knows what could have been on those...yeesh! Here are a few from our trip to Wild Waves, a water fun park that snugs up next to the Fun Forest ( small amusement park I used to go to as a kid). It is very expensive to get in, but luckily they give you a discount if you bring in participating diet coke cans, of which my parents had enough to furnish all of us with!

Below are some great pictures I'm in love with of my family at a Los Lobos outdoor concert. It was at the zoo, so mostly lots of little kids. My sister and I were among only a handful of folks in the beer garden, can you believe that? My parents kept making jokes about how they brought their kids... pretty cute :)

MOHI Theatre de la Mode...

The Museum of History & Industry presented the Theatre de la Mode, a world renowned collection of French fashion mannequins and stage sets, conceived in 1945 by leading fashion designers to hail the rebirth of the fashion industry at the end of WWII. These fabulous dolls stand 27" tall and each costume was made as a full size couture dress would be. This was an amazine exibit! I have many more photos on Flickr... .

Gone to the fair...

We headed down to the Fremont Solstice Parade and Fair on Saturday. The weather was nose burning perfect. We met up with lots of friends, all of them with children, so they had to take turns in the beer garden!
