I was so excited to finally use this retro 60's bubbly brocade fabric that I had picked up at an estate sale Years ago. It's been wanting to be made up into dresses for ages and now it's stunning! Because the fabric is so flamboyant, the design needed to be something simple and keeping with the era. A simple shift with small pleat tucks at the waist and black piping to add another layer to the overall pink look. This is my favorite dress so far! Available in now in Medium and Large (Small has sold).
Last weeks finished dress is made froma recycled panel of vintage kimono fabric. Kimono panels are very narrow, so side pieces are necessary to fit. Because of the narrowness of the kimono fabric it took two tries at draping this before it fit perfectly. It's a one of a kind in size Small. Check it out online Here!
