I couldn't help myself! I saw this dish in the October Anthropologie catalog and I Needed to make it into a skirt.
The skirt body is in a stretch cotton twill and I'll be making these up in all sizes for Spring. A few things, it could have been more bubbly, like the dish, but an a-line just fits and sells better. Also, not sure I'm crazy about the pink stripes on the floral applique, I think I will be changing that for production. It was the only print I could find that I liked to go back to the dish pattern, even though it's a rose and not a peony.
~So! Coming soon to Frock Shop :D I'm having a feeling there will be more Anthro home catalog inspired goodies coming...
After a very long hiatus (pregnant, having the baby, baby is now one), New Hoots have arrived! I will be getting even more in the next couple weeks. Very exciting :D
Here are pictures of some of the Hoots on my new Model, Juniper. Good thing I had another baby girl that looks exactly like my first baby model!
Also restocked in more of the favorite prints!
The last couple weeks have been getting over the terrible cold (including laryngitis) and trying to avoid Halloween candy. The diet is still going well, sticking to no animal protein and no processed foods. Here are a few of the dishes that I whipped up in the last two weeks:
Homemade coleslaw, never made this before. I used a non fat mayo (a low fat veganaise could also be used), olive oil, flax seed oil, agave nectar, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice and salt. Great!
Weight lost this week: 1lb
Trips to the gym: 2 (three next week!)
