I am excited to introduce you to Tina! She is the mastermind behind Glamspoon clothing company (which we sell in Frock Shop) an experienced social media maven, thrift shopping blogger for the Seattle PI and all around fun person. She will be helping out on Fridays at Frock Shop and collaborating with me on some exciting projects in the future! Yay and Welcome Tina!
Originally from Australia, Georgina Baker recently moved to Vancouver BC bringing her unique recycled antique spoon jewelry style with her :) We have a great collection of her wonderful pieces in the shop now! Here are just a few...
I'm always so in awe of the gorgeous pictures of peoples studio spaces, all funky and clean. Well, I thought it would be fun and a little embarrassing to post 360 degree pictures of my work space, which is also our spare room. There is no time to clean or decorate in a cool and trendy work space way, so it's just a great mess.
Hubby and I stole ourselves away last night to see your 'Wonder'ful movie in imax 3D. I can't believe I was actually considering seeing it at a regular theater and not in 3D, imax has now ruined us for seeing movies any other way. As things are now we get out to see around one movie a year and it's going to have to be imax 3D from now on. Truly a magical experience. One minute into the movie hubs leaned over to me and said, "This is the coolest thing I've ever seen." The last 3D movies we'd seen were him:Jaws 3, me:Friday th 13th 3 and lets just say that 3D has come along way since then (yikes). The last imax movie I saw was the first one, I'm sure, the flying around the mountains one that just makes everyone feel sick (and that poor man in the back who was actually sick). So, I had a little trepidation about the getting sick part and can say that there was no sick feeling, just the incredible feeling of being inside Tim Burton's world, actually inside. Alice, you were so lovely, the hatter was truly mad (if not a little reminiscent of a Mr Wonka) and the Red Queen was deliciously wicked, but the character that stole the movie for me was Cheshire Cat. For some reason every time he came onto the screen I had to lean over to hubby and tell him how fluffy Cheshire was to the reply of a few 3D eye rolls and a shush!
I am now thinking of ways to use my daughter as an excuse to buy myself Cheshire Cat merchandise, but really all I want to do is rub my face in his CG tummy.
Side note, I almost forgot to breathe during the preview for TRON in imax 3D, holy smokes, we might have to splurge for two movies this year.
