Frock Shop Pics...

Finally! After a month and a half of constant work, Frock Shop is open! We had a fun opening party on Saturday and lots of great customers already. Tomorrow I will add a cute picture of the outside with the pink awning, but I do have a cute one of the Halloween window display that is going to change tomorrow.

Hee Hee Hee...

One thing I will quickly write about (and giggle secretly inside) is this fantastic 5 pound box full of vintage wrapping paper that I found at an estate sale this weekend. It was this great old Nordstrom box that just said $5 for the box. I was so excited when I opened it up, I literally snached it to my chest and ran to the cashier. I havn't even had a chance to go through all of it, but there are so many cute ones in there. Some will be made into cards, some sold as a whole sheet in my shop and some I'm going to keep for myself...

Time for more Lacquer...

I havn't had time to post anything lately or make any new things for that matter. I think I'm a bit zooey from all the paint fumes on the remodel of the shop! Everything is going so well and will open on time (Oct 28th, phew!) the only set back was the old 40's style bar that I bought off of Craigslist for my cashwrap. It is so cute, but I mucked it up trying to repaint it :P I have to buy 3 more cans of smelly spray lacquer to make it look at all presentable. I don't want to put any pictures of the shop up yet until I have the 'after' pics too..soon! Here is the link to the invite (again ;)...

Vintage Wrapping Cards and Tags...
